2 Wooden Shutters (Outdoor)

Update your exterior curb appeal with these beautiful cedar shutters! Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay which makes it an excellent wood for outdoor use. Sanded to an ultra smooth finish for a low-maintenance, easy to clean surface. These shutters can be finished in a variety of stain color options. Each panel comes with 6 clavos.

Each listing is for a set of 2 shutters. Shutters are sealed with an outdoor waterproofing finish (the standard finish will dry flat, a high gloss finish can be added for an additional $25 per set). Unfinished shutters are also available if you prefer to paint or stain yourself. Custom sizes can be made (*please complete a customized order for a quote for any size over 72”).

Each shutter made with 5/8″ thick boards with  no space or 1/4″ spacing between the vertical boards. The “Board N Batten” style is made with 4 vertical boards joined together with 2-3 horizontal boards.

About the process:

We cut each cedar board to the same length, sand each piece to a very smooth surface with 180 grit sandpaper and assemble the panel with outdoor wood glue and screws. Once the glue has set up, each panel is sanded again before staining to ensure the stain will adhere evenly and without blotching. Stain is then applied and allowed to dry for at least 24 hours. The shutters are completely sealed with a weather protectant top coat that is rated for outdoor use to achieve a durable, long lasting finish.
